Border Patrol Pay Reform Act of 2013 Introduced in Senate 11/13/13

Senators Jon Tester (D-MT) and John McCain (R-AZ) introduced our pay reform act in the Senate today.  I will be reaching out to ALL of our Congressmen and Senators in the next few days to gain their support.  When looked at objectively, this bi-partisan bill should have universal support and be sent to the President for his signature as soon as possible!

For a little while, I thought this proposed pay reform was pretty good due to some misleading emails that I got in my .gov email. After reading the actual bill, it seems that we are indeed getting screwed a little bit. Is this really the best that we can do!??

If OFO guys can get paid TRIPLE time for commuting (that’s THREE times their hourly rate just for driving), what exactly is wrong with Border Patrol Agents getting time and a half for anything past eight hours, not exceeding ten???

you’re on to something here Juan! If AUO had been called border patrol shift differential, there wouldn’t be this salem witch hunt…just like Customs COPRA pay, etc. isn’t in anyone’s cross hairs
